Are you backed up?

Running Backups
Using the Backup or Restore Wizard is simple. If you’ve ever used the wizard to walk you through an installation in Windows, you’ll see running a backup is just as easy. Here’s how:

  • Click on the Start button
  • Select All Programs
  • Select Accessories
  • Select System Tools
  • Then select Backup. The wizard will open and all you need to do is follow the on-screen prompts.
How long will it take?
The length of time it takes to run a backup depends on how much data you have stored. For typical users, it can take anywhere from1-3 hours, depending on how large the files are and how fast your computer is.

Remember, you can always make copies of files or documents and put them on a CD or flash drive. However, keep in mind that if this contains proprietary or client information, you could be held responsible if such copies are stolen or misused. So if you’re going to keep copies around just be sure you lock them in a safe place!
