Hi, my name is Rachel Adams and I work for you. I'm part of the technology team that you can call on, Monday - Friday, 9-5, to help with your questions about computers, networks, PDAs, peripherals, digital cameras, web sites and much, much more. Your association of Realtors has provided this service to you as a Member Benefit - my team is just a phone call away! This issue of Tech Team: In the Trenches explores answers to some of the most common problems associated with using PDF forms files. And, in Cool Tools we'll compare power inverters that let you plug your laptop into your cigarette lighter for reliable mobile computing. Working with Forms & PDF Files
Realtors on the go can't always rely on laptop batteries to get the job done. But, there is a ready source of power that's always available when you need it - your automobile cigarette lighter. Here are three adaptors that let you turn your car battery into a laptop lifesaver. But beware if you veer off the chart - some laptop processors need at least 90 watts of sustained power to work properly. And if you want to hook up additional hardware (Such as a portable printer), add the total number of watts your hardware needs and buy an inverter that provides at least 10-20% more power than your largest load.
Service News Sincerely, Rachel Adams and your Technology Team
