Hi, my name is Rachel Adams and I’m part of the technology team that you can call on, Monday – Friday, 9-5, to help with your questions about computers, networks, PDAs, peripherals, digital cameras, web sites and much, much more. Your association of Realtors has provided this service to you as a Member Benefit – my team is just a phone call away! This issue of Tech Team: In the Trenches gets you back to basics – we show you how to increase the performance of your computer with just a few simple steps. Backing Up Your System Cool Tools: Multimedia Messaging (MMS) Phones Imagine the possibilities … on a caravan of new listings you see the perfect home for one of your clients. Without having to tote along any additional equipment, you shoot a picture of the home, record a message - "this is a great new listing with a big backyard and a playset already installed!" - and send it straight to the client. Or perhaps you meet a new prospect – get her e-mail address and send her your v-card and photo on the spot. Cool Tools compares three phones containing this new technology, but be forewarned … MMS must be supported by the service provider. Also note that only the Nokias are available in the U.S. at press time.
